Our Daily Schedule

9:00-9:30 > Morning icebreakers with warm-up and stretching

9:30-11:00 > Dance rehearsal (first song)

11:00-11:30 > Outdoor snack + sunshine break

11:30-1:00 > Dance rehearsal (second song)

1:00-2:00 > Lunch + outdoor break

2:00-3:00 > Creative free dance (depending on the day: ribbon dance, hula hoop dance, obstacle dance courses, musical yoga, and art)

3:00 > Pick-up (On Friday, parents can watch kids performance)

Meet Your Counselors

Samantha Nimock

Samantha, owner of The Village (formally named Village Yoga) has been leading yoga, meditation, and mindfulness for 10 years. Prior to opening The Village, Samantha taught in a Montessori school for many years. With a degree in elementary education and a life long passion for teaching children, Samantha has a special knack for making children feel seen, special, and excited for a week of fun. Samantha will be following Scarlet’s lead when it comes to the dance routines, while taking the lead on outdoor activities, yoga breaks, mindfulness, and games.

Scarlet Nimock

Scarlet is the big sister every kid wish they had! Scarlet has been an aerial extraordinaire and performer for 5 years. Scarlet is 13 and consistently volunteers in the elementary wing of her school. She enjoys teaching younger students and has spent months choreographing dance routines for this summer camp. As the lead dance instructor, Scarlet intends to integrate hula hoops, cheerleading, ribbons, and more into the dance routines.

Details

Each week is limited to 8 children. The Village’s 6 acre property has hosted hundreds of outdoor yoga classes, events, workshops, and retreats. It is the perfect place for children to experience the outdoors with an air conditioned studio ready when needed. We have a garden space that children can plant or harvest in if they wish, well maintained lawn for walks, and plenty of room for outdoor obstacle dance courses and games. The Village is located at 2901 Little Antire Road, High Ridge, MO 63049.

Requirements

> > Children are required to bring their own lunch, snacks, and water bottle. Please call Samantha (970-819-1480) or email her (Samanthanimock@gmail.com) to inform her of any food allergies. We will provide fruit, crackers, and ice pops during the day.

> > You must apply sunscreen on your child before camp if they need it. You can send your child with sunscreen for a second layer in the afternoon.

> > All waivers must be signed on the first day of drop-off.

> > All sessions are first-come, first-serve. We cannot reserve a spot without payment.

> > No refunds will be given in the event of cancellation.
